Belgium: SOCAR Opens Brussels Office (19/11/2012)

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has opened a new representative office in Brussels at a ceremony attended by the SOCAR leadership. Company President Rovnag Abdullayev was at the ceremony, which added to representative offices in Georgia, Turkey and several countries of Europe and Asia.

In addition to its two refineries and retail assets in Azerbaijan, SOCAR operates fuel service stations in Georgia and the Ukraine. Last year, the company purchased a network of fuel service stations in Switzerland, and is currently rebranding the sites.
