The Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association has appointed Hesham Ali Mustafa as its president after the Emirati won a vote at a conference held by the company in Beijing. He is the first Gulf-based president of the organisation and will join from his current positions as a senior director at Emirates Gas and general manager at ENOC Gas Marketing.
“The appointment of Hesham Ali Mustafa as the first ever president of ANGVA from the region underlines the thought leadership promoted by ENOC in the driving of the CNG industry globally,†said ENOC’s chief executive.
Mustafa will serve a two-year term as head of the organisation, and will be responsible for the Malaysia-registered entity’s promotion and development of natural gas based vehicles.
“It is an honour to represent this region and be placed at the forefront of the CNG/NGV industry worldwide and promote sustainable practices in the energy sector,†said Mustafa. “ANGVA focuses on networking with various global stakeholders and advocating the exploration of the fullest potential of natural gas.â€
